5 Reasons Google Wave is Not Ready

I like this article and I happen to agree with most of what it says.  I hope you find it informative like I did.

Google Wave is cool

Yes, that is correct, Google Wave is cool in a geeky sort of way.  A friend of mine sent it to me the other day and like an idiot I managed to delete the e-mail which was luckily in the deleted folder in gmail just sitting there. I took the time to search for it in my deleted folder and now I am experiencing the beta version of Google Wave with lots of other very geeky people.  I really do not consider myself a geek per sae but I guess since I live and breath technology I can sort of meld into the crowd with the geeks and not be noticed.  Now that I have access to Google Wave I am going to do some exploring and testing and see how I can apply it to my personal life and or business.  The first thing I thought it would be cool for would be collaborative discussions with my other online students at Trident Technical college.  In several of my classes we are required to discuss this and that and we are graded on our level of participation.  It would be nice to have a real time collaborative mechanism like this for the college courses.  It would be cool if the professors could have a wave set up in the class and those of us that are online students could chime right in with the rest of the class that is sitting there locally in the classroom.  I surfed around by searching for all the public waves and found some of interest.  I have a lot of learning to do for sure.

Take shape for life is coming along nicely and even though I despise some of the food packages that came with the variety pack I can certainly still use the food bars and the knowledge that I have gained from the program.  I guess you could say that I am following a very modified version of the program.  The important thing is that I am radically changing my eating habits and drinking more water and eating much healthier foods.  Once my left knee stops hurting as much as it has I will start back to walking again.  I am hoping I can do that sooner than later because I know that it will help me burn even more calories.  I am noticing that my pants and shirts are fitting much looser on me than normal.  I am regaining some flexibility that I have not had in several years which is oh so cool.  I feel so much better and my blood pressure has dropped down by several points on both systolic and dyastolic.  If that continues to plummet I will need to get my bp meds adjusted.  How cool would it be to get completely off the bp meds and not have to take them?  It would be so awersome and I anticipate being able to do that in a couple of months as long as I keep this up.

I am sitting here in my home office and I am off for the weekend. We have all the windows open and the air is coming in to the house which is wonderful. I need to quit blathering and try to do get ahead on some of my school work for next week.  Desire to Learn and Desire to change is my motto.  Change is good especially when it is for your long term benefit.  Go ME!!

Jammin4Jesus Low Country 2009

Jammin4Jesus 2009 was held at Epworth United Methodist Church at 1540 Camp Road on Johns Island this past Saturday.  I took some photos and video of this event for the organizer and I needed a place online to share these.  I figured that a Posterous Blog would be a good start until I can register a domain and get a website.  For now I think a blog will be a good start.
