Good morning
I have to say that it is very NICE to have weekends off again for a change. For the last several years I have been working my second job on Saturday and Sunday which makes for a very long week indeed. Thanks to my new contract position with Systemtec I am able to give the security job a rest for the next five months. This Saturday Katy went to an all day seminar which left me to running chores all day. Laundry, getting tires for the car and paying bills. LOL.. When I went to church on Sunday I was surprised when the praise team leader and pastor invited me to sing. They told me that I had a good voice and they needed a male vocalist to be added to the mix. We also have gone from having 7 singers to 2 singers in the last couple of weeks which has not helped things. So, for now, I will fill in and sing. I actually had a lot of fun doing it even if I am not comfortable with being in front of everyone like that. I am more comfortable back in the sound booth running sound and doing recordings and such. I am taking my car to the shop this morning so that they can fix the ding in the right rear door. I was sitting in my car last Saturday while Katy and the kids were in Barnes and Noble book store in N Charleston when someone opened their car door into mine and left a dent and scratched my car door. They told the insurance company that there was no real damage and that a gust of wind blew their car door into mine trying to say it was an act of god and get away with having to pay for it. The insurance company spoke to all people invovlved and agreed with me that they were liable for the damages. So, this will be the second time in two months that my car has been in the body shop. I think that from now on I am going to start parking my car away from the other cars so this does not happen again. It is very cold this morning but after noon today it is supposed to warm up into the 70's. That will be very nice indeed. I am starting to get tired of the cold weather and all of the rain. Last night, thanks to our living on a dirt road I was forced to put cardboard down next to my car so I wont have to step in the mud again. Well, I guess that is all for now, time to get ready for my busy day. I hope you have a good week folks.
